What I have figured out so far… my plan of action for my “retirement side hustle” is to start a Youtube Channel dedicated to teaching beginning and intermediate watercolor painting techniques with the goal of developing digital products (watercolor courses) to ultimately market on my e-commerce site (yet to be developed).
I have started shooting process videos of my watercolor techniques, and I have learned that I have a lot to learn and a lot to practice to get better. Being on-screen sucks and feels not natural at all. But I have made a start. I have only posted 1 min or shorter video reels on my Instagram account (rnelsonarts). Check them out.
My goal is to begin posting longer format content this summer to YouTube (Rusty Professor). Nothing out there yet.
