After a semester-long setback in getting started on my new YouTube channel… I have posted my first introduction video. I have been practicing my screen presence/talking head skills in short daily videos (that I haven’t posted). I use these videos to improve my speaking skills and familiarize myself with the video setup and recording workflow. It has been an interesting few weeks and I have seen some improvement. So, I felt somewhat ready to start posting at the start of 2024.
Still, this first, very short video was painful to complete and I played with that fact in editing three takes into one. Even with that, I have a long way to go to get better at being a content creator.
I’ll begin dropping actual tutorial content very soon and consistently.
